Lyrics

Intro
2

We cooked for sixty days and sixty nights

3

We lit the landing page like temple lights

4

Gated the gate, wrote the copy clean

5

The finest lead magnet you have ever seen

Hook
8

Come to the feast, come to the feast

9

We called the buyers from the east

10

Come to the table, eat our bread

11

Eight hundred strangers came instead

12

Ate the eBook, left no name

13

Come to the feast - they came, they came

Verse 1
16

Door by door we sang the song

17

The webinar was three hours long

18

Three hundred registered, we rejoiced

19

Then thirty showed, and none had voiced

20

A budget or a buying need

21

But twelve took notes for their college creed

22

One wanted a job, one said "great content, friend"

23

One asked if we had merch; we hit send

Hook
26

Come to the feast, come to the feast

27

We called the buyers from the east

28

Come to the table, eat our bread

29

Eight hundred strangers came instead

30

Ate the eBook, left no name

31

Come to the feast - they came, they came

Verse 2
34

Six weeks to write the guide, the PDF

35

Ninety pages, singing deaf to deaf

36

The opt-in rate - it climbed, it soared

37

The conversion rate - it hit the floor

38

We ran the nurture, five emails deep

39

One unsubscribed, the rest asleep

40

One forwarded it to his nephew young

41

Who downloaded it in his mother tongue

42

The MQL count - it was none, was none

43

But reach? We had reach. We had reach, hon.

Bridge
46

We fed the valley, we fed the plain

47

We sang at every door through rain

48

And when the elders asked in the hall:

49

"What did we harvest after all?"

50

We looked at the metrics, we fixed our tie

51

We took a deep breath, we looked them in the eye:

52

"Brand. Awareness."

53

A dignified lie.

54

"Top of funnel."

55

Nobody buys.

Hook
58

Come to the feast, come to the feast

59

We called the buyers from the east

60

Come to the table, eat our bread

61

Eight hundred strangers came instead

62

Ate the eBook, left no name

63

Come to the feast - they came, they came

Outro
66

The table's clear, the candles low

67

The qualified leads - they didn't show

68

We have impressions, we have reach

69

We have a number we can teach

70

Brand awareness - that's our yield

71

The feast was free - the feast was sealed

Behind the Lyrics

I've built a lot of lead magnets. Ebooks nobody asked for. Webinars that took two months of prep, with a landing page I was proud of and a nurture sequence written with real care, which attracted people who wanted the template but not the product. I've run this play for clients, employers, startups and my own projects. So I know the specific exhaustion that follows a big content push when the downloads are real and the pipeline is empty. You did the work. The work landed. It just landed on the wrong people. And the wrong people loved it, which somehow makes it worse. Then comes the reframe: "brand awareness". It's so universal in this industry it's practically a job title. I should update my LinkedIn headline to "Lachezar Simeonov, Brand Awareness Builder". The genre was never in question. Kaba gaida, tupan, gadulka and a choir in the style of Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares: this is the music I grew up around, and it can sound like a wedding and a funeral in the same bar. A lavish feast laid out for eight hundred guests, none of whom came to buy, is a celebration and a wake at once. Only Bulgarian folk does both without blinking.
